- Snoryng requests that whereas by false allegations made by some of his fellow canons there is a plea between him and the bishop of Norwich, in which he has appealed to the court of Rome, and now the King, as patron of the church of Walsingham, has taken the quarrel into his own hand and forbidden passage to the petitioner, that a patent be directed to his fellow canons ordering them to accept the petitioner as their prior until the plea is determined.

- Dated on the guard to c. 1384, with reference to CPR 1381-5, p. 389, a 1384 revocation of letters patent committing the priory of Walsingham to its sub-prior upon pledge for Snoryng, and CCR 1381-5, pp. 433-4, a 1384 writ of supersedeas onmino and order to revoke and annul any process made, in response to this petition.
