Snoryng requests that whereas by false allegations made by some of his fellow canons there is a plea between him and the bishop of Norwich, in which he has appealed to the court of Rome, and now the King, as patron of the church of Walsingham, has taken the quarrel into his own hand and forbidden passage to the petitioner, that a patent be directed to his fellow canons ordering them to accept the petitioner as their prior until the plea is determined.
