Nature of request
Lebret requests that pardon be granted to Peirinot and Naudinot de Virac, Virelade and Lugaignac who, because of the very great power of the King's enemies in Aquitaine, for their safety and that of their goods and to preserve their lives, have been in the obedience of your enemy of France, [but] have returned the land of Langoiran in which they have their homes to the King's true obedience and greatly fear having offended the King.
Nature of endorsement
The council has agreed that charters of pardon and restitution should be made under the great seal to the four people named within as the petitioner requested, so that the king will grant them their goods and inheritances had before today, 20 June in the sixth year (1383).
