- Chalmeley requests remedy because after Elyng came into the hundred of Holdshot on the eve of Ephiphany last and, at the suit of Foukes, arrested Mulleward, who found pledges that he would answer at the time and place contained in the writ, the following night Dabrigecourt came with armed men and waged war against Elyng and took the pledge from him and burned it.
