Nature of request
Writ of scire facias of Richard II ordering the mayor and bailiffs of Southampton to make known all merchants in Southampton who have goods arrested in Prussia or have in any way been wronged by Prussia and cause them to appear before the council at the Translation of St Thomas the Martyr next to fully explain the wrongs done to them.
Nature of endorsement
The mayor and bailiffs of Southampton made it known to all in the town that all those who have had goods arrested in Prussia or have in any way been wronged by Prussia should be before the King's council on the day specified within to inform them on this matter.
