Nature of request
Writ of scire facias of Richard II ordering the mayor and bailiffs of Kingston-upon-Hull to make known all merchants in Kingston upon Hull who have goods arrested in Prussia or have in any way been wronged by Prussia and cause them to appear before the council at the Translation of St Thomas the Martyr next to fully explain the wrongs done to them.
Nature of endorsement
The mayor and bailiffs of Kingston upon Hull made it known to Arnold, Bate, Ebiele, Chiry, Tutbury, Bilsthorpe and Cross that they should be before the King's council on the day specified in the writ by Falcon and Welling. No others in the town have had goods arrested in Prussia.
