Soldiers of Cherbourg.

Nature of request
The soldiers of Cherbourg request that whereas they are in arrears of their wages from the time when Windsor and Auston were governor and lieutenant, and have been ruined and some of them imprisoned, that they should be paid and Auston ordered to come before the council and explain the matter, and that the soldiers should have an answer under Auston's seal.1)
Nature of endorsement
It should be sent to the Chancery, the relevant people called there, and justice done.2) Stikeneye, Meisy, Lopham and Exeter and any other former soldiers of Cherbourg appoint Hartlepool as their attorney in the case against Auston which is before the King in his Chancery.
