Nature of request
Record of the hearing of the petition of the Bishop of Lincoln in the parliament of 1369, on the petition at SC 8/210/10463, recording that the bishop of Winchester, chancellor, called certain great men of parliament in chancery on 11 June (namely the bishop of London, the bishop of Lincoln, the duke of Lancaster, the earl of Arundel, the chief justice of king's bench, the chief justice of common pleas and other justices of the king), where it was decided that Pencrich ought not to hold the benefice of Iffley and should have his presentation annulled.
