The petitioner requests that the Abbot of St Thomas the Martyr in Dublin be appointed as Chancellor of the Dublin Exchequer, as agreed by the king and the council at Portsmouth.
Nature of endorsement
It seems to the council that the present chancellor is sufficient, and that they do not wish to remove him without reasonable cause.
