Nature of request
[Response to SC 8/208/10385]It seems to the council that the king send a writ to the Archbishop of Canterbury, rehearsing the matters in this petition and ordering him not to do or attempt anything in this matter to prejudice the king or the crown without consulting the king. Note
This appears to form the council's response to the petition at SC 8/208/10384, and thus would seem to date to 11 November, the date given in the note to the king (SC 8/208/10383) which accompanied these two documents.
