[Petition in 4 parts].Cromwelle requests a speedy remedy over the following complaints:1) The king gave him the castle and town of Hope for life and the castle was destroyed in the war by the Welsh for which Cromwelle commanded his bailiffs at his going overseas to rebuild the castle, but they have been prevented from doing so because Lloyd and others came by force and arms and disturbed them in cutting timer to the king's and Cromwelle's great loss.2) They improve the wastes daily for themselves to the king's and Cromwelle's great loss.3) They carry off the . . . and multure from the king's mill in the town of Hope to the king's and Cromwelle's great damage.4) They came with others while Cromwelle was abroad in the king's service, ill-treated his bailiffs and the English of the town so that none dare keep guard and the English are about to leave the town if remedy is not made
