Nature of request
Writ of Edward II to the coroners of Nottinghamshire commanding them to send any inquisition that they took concerning the death of Catesby at Warsop, or of any view that they took of the body without delay.
Nature of endorsement
[On face].By petition of the council.[On dorse].1) Response of St Andra and Walrington.2) No inquisition or view of the body was made because they knew nothing of it, so nothing is sent to the king.
