Cateby requests that she is able to have her inheritance as her father was taken at Warsop and held for 2 days and a night and then beheaded by the people of the town without judgment by which Cobbledike has taken all her father's tenements into the king's hand.1)

The petition dates to 1322 as it clearly dates closely with its associated documents that all date to May and June 1322 (SC 8/204/10180-5) and Cobbledike was ordered to restore the land on 13 July 1322 (CCR 1318-23, p.570).
