Writ of Edward II to Doncaster and Hopton assigning them to hold an inquisition into the complaint by Roos that a sum is being demanded from him by Mauleverer, which sum he is obliged to him in to secure the surrender of Knaresborough Castle, and which he made at the request of the commons of the country there.
