Bech requests that his small piece of land that he has in Kingston Bagpuize be delivered to him as it has been taken into the king's hand by Brumpton, since Bech was in the king's service in Pleshey castle with his brother, and it has been found by inquisition that he was not in the company of rebels.

Note
The petition dates to 1322 as it is clearly submitted in the aftermath of the earl of Lancaster's rebellion. The petition must be after 20 May 1322 when Brompton ceased to be sheriff of Oxfordshire and Berkshire (List of Sheriffs, p.107).
