Writ of Edward II to Harden and Hungerford commanding them to hold an inquisition by the oaths of law-worthy men of Wiltshire to examine the veracity of the matter presented by petition by Polesholt concerning his arrest and imprisonment by Kingston on suspicion of being an adherent of the king's enemies, and to send the inquisition under their seals without delay.
