The common people living along the River Tyne in Northumberland ask that conservators might be appointed to watch the river for newly-erected weirs and the wrongful taking of salmon. Roger Maudut, Richard de Emeldon and John de Meneville are named for this post.
Nature of endorsement
This petition is to be sent to Chancery and the Chancellor, calling to himself the justices and others, is to have a remedy ordained for the things contained in this petition.
