- John de Sandale states that the King granted him two-thirds of the manor of Barrowby, which belonged to Stephen Pesschon, a Scot who died against the King and whose children are under age, and that he had paid everything beforehand for seven years, of which five are still to run; but that the King has now had a dower assigned to Stephen's widow, which amounts to £4 11s. He requests a writ to the Escheator to assign him a similar amount elsewhere for his term.
