Earls, barons, bishops, abbots, priors and other tenants of the franchise of Cirencester.

Nature of request
The petitioners state that they are not taxable to the county of Gloucestershire, and they perform no suit to the county, nor have they or their ancestors contributed to the common fine made before justices in eyre for false judgment and other trespasses committed in the county court; but the Sheriff of Gloucestershire is now demanding from them a quarter of this fine. They request grace and a remedy.
