- The merchants of Gascony state that they used to have in the town of Boston booths called 'the King's booths' where they used to store their wines, for which they used to pay 22 and a half marks; but that the bailiffs of the county have now put the price up to 45 marks, and they seize them to force them to pay this sum. They ask that they might either have these booths for the customary sum, or that they might be able to rent buildings elsewhere in the town, as the bailiffs are currently preventing them from using buildings they have rented elsewhere.

- [Deleted] The bailiffs are to come and answer.Coram rege.The bailiffs are to be ordered that they are to have the buildings in the town at the same price as they did previously, and if the buildings are enlarged or altered, then they are to pay more, according to the extent to which the building has been altered. And they are not to be compelled unwillingly by seizing [their goods (?)] contrary to justice, or charged, that is other than according to the quantity of their wines.
