Nature of request
Henry Martin of Trumpington states that William le Cham, bailiff of William le Moyne, Sheriff of Cambridgeshire, and James his servant seized him when he was travelling from Trumpington to Shelford, and also seized his man William de Myntemor, going to his warren at Trumpington; and that they took his sword and knife from him as if he had been a felon, and took him and his man to Chesterton and imprisoned them there on their own authority, without order from King or sheriff or coroner, until they released them on payment of a redemption. He requests justice.
