Nature of request
Margaret, widow of John le Boteler of Farnborough, states that Adam de Strattone held a certain rent in London of her, which ought to revert to her as her escheat, which she can prove by a fine levied in the court of Henry III, in the fifty-seventh (ms fifty-eighth) year of his reign, and recorded in the present King's court in his first year. She asks that this might be inquired into, and, if it is found to be true, that she might give the King satisfaction for the year and the day, and have the rent as her escheat.
Nature of endorsement
It is answered.The Treasurer is to keep the response, and the rent is to be paid to her as it used to be.
