Nature of request
John de Felton, constable of Alnwick castle, asks that he might account in the Wardrobe for the wages he has received, and what is in arrears of these wages, for the men the King has ordered him to retain for the garrison of Alnwick castle; as many of them are presently staying in the town until they have an answer on this, putting the castle in danger.
Nature of endorsement
The Keeper of the Wardrobe is to be ordered by writ that he is to account in the Wardrobe for the contents of the petition, and that he is further to do what is to be done in this case.
