- Robert Noldyn of Sandwich states that in time of peace between England and Flanders he sent John Noldyn his servant (valet) to Bruges with fifteen sacks of wool, to trade, and the Burgomaster and echevins of Bruges wrongly imprisoned him and seized the wool by force, on the Monday after the feast of St Dennis in the twelfth year of the present king's reign. Robert has since sued to the Burgomaster and echevins to have delivery of his wool, but has received neither delivery nor compensation. He requests a remedy.

- CCR 1318-23 pp.396-397 is dated 24 August 1321. It is clearly the final result of this petition, but as it mentions requests for justice to the Count of Flanders not mentioned here, it may not follow immediately.
