Short title: Hanley v Burnell.

Plaintiffs: George Hanley of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, nursery and seedsman (son and administrator of John Hanlay alias John Amler Hanley late of St Blazey, Cornwall, miner deceased; of goouds unadministrated by Nevel Norway, deceased), William Jell of Plymouth Dock, Devon, pawnbroker, James Roach of Plymouth Dock, bookweller, Francis Wyatt of Plymouth, grocer and William Hargreave of Mansfield Place, Kentish Town, Middlesex, gent.

Defendants: Richard [Edgcumbe] Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, Joshua Rowe, John Hoare (junior), Peter Pascoe, Andrew Pears, Thomas Nickels, Thomas Carlyon, William Harrison, John Burnell, Walter Williams (the last three as assignees of Peter Bowen Jones a bankrupt) and Matthew Wood.
