Plaintiffs: Thomas Smith of Holehouse, Whitehaven, Cumberland, basket maker (first cousin and next of kin of William Kelly late of North Shields, Northumberland, bookseller, intestate batchelor).
Defendants: Quinton Blackburn of North Shields, ship owner, Henry Kelly of Stockton on Tees, Durham, yeoman, Jacob Milner of Stockton on Tees (currently abroad) and Mary Milner his wife and Jane Willens of Hutton Rudby, Yorkshire, widow.
