Plaintiffs: Hannah Elizabeth Stapleton, Mary Harriot Stapleton and Melsina Stapleton all of Gunnersbury, Middlesex, spinsters, William Bell Stapleton aged 18 years, Anne Ross Stapleton aged 16 years, Oliver Delancy Stapleton aged 11 years, Charlotte Stapleton aged 10 years and Horatio Nelson Stapleton aged 5 years, infants (by John London McAdam their next friend); (children of John Stapleton of Gunnersbury, esq and Catherine Stapleton his wife).
Defendants: John Stapleton and Catherine Stapleton his wife, Thomas Cooper Vanderhoust and Mary Hannah Vanderhoust his wife (abroad).
Subject: legacies due under the will of Hannah Bull formerly of Charleston, South Carolina, America but late of St George Bloomsbury, Middlesex, widow (great aunt of plaintiffs, and a slave owner): names some enslaved people who are to be part of the plaintiffs' inheritance and other enslaved people who are to be emancipated.
