Description

[C1810 C14].

Short title: Codrington v Paul.

Document type: Bill and two answers.

Plaintiffs: Christopher Codrington of Dodington, Gloucestershire esq, and Charles William Codrington, an infant and eldest son of Christopher Codrington by the Hon Caroline Harriet Codrington.

Defendants: Sir George Onesiphorous Paul of Hill House, Gloucestershire, bart and Marmaduke Trattle of the City of London, merchant.

Samuel Dash added as defendant: Robert Codrington and Eleanor Codrington, infants, added as plaintiffs.

Subject: estate of Sir William Codrington of Dodington, Gloucestershire, bart including real estate in the West Indies, including many enslaved people, plantations and their produce, as well as several estates in Tewkesbury and Twining, Gloucestershire and elsewhere in England.
