- Nature of request
- The burgesses request confirmation of their charter of liberties, customs and laws, they having been granted by the king's ancestors that they should have those of the citizens of London. They request also that the clauses in their charter where the words are general be distinctly declared, the points being still in consideration by Airmyn and Foxley.
- Nature of endorsement
- It is agreed by the council that they should have their charters confirmed without new clauses, and they should come into Chancery and show their charters and they will be confirmed by fine. Concerning the new liberties, nothing at present.
