[This petition is largely illegible.]The petitioner makes requests:1) [The first request is almost completely illegible, but involves the manors of Kingsclere and Kilham.2) He requests the revocation of a presentation made by Henry III.3) He requests permission for the chapter to sell from, or otherwise make use or, the woods or their manor of Kingsclere, especially as it is deforested.4) He requests confirmation of their charters, and that it might be known by what right John Clarel has lately despoiled the church of Rouen of various churches and chapels.5) He also requests an inquiry into how John Clarel expelled the Dean and chapter's proctors from these churches and chapels, and a remedy for this.
