- The Prior of the Hospital of Jerusalem states that Richard de Plessy, the King's Chief Forester, is disturbing the nuns of Buckland of three cartloads of wood a week, for which they have a good charter of the King's ancestors. He requests a remedy.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated to the reign of Edward I before 1289, with reference to mentions of Richard de Plessy in CPR 1281-92 pp.107-108 (Keeper of the Forest of Selwood, 11 December 1283), CCR 1272-9 p.290 (Keeper of the King's park of Petherton, 22 May 1276) and p.535 (Keeper of the Forest of Mendip, 1 August 1279). Plessy had died by 20 June 1289, when orders were issued for the delivery of his lands to his heirs (CFR 1272-1307 p.262).
