Nature of request
Idonea, daughter of Godfrey le Furmager, states that John de Wyndesore, clerk, has been convicted of raping her when she was in his wardship and under the age of seven, and is imprisoned for this trespass, but that her appeal on the matter has been quashed for a trivial matter. She asks that before he is released from prison, a remedy might be provided for the great violence he did her, as the statute says that no appeal should be lightly quashed.
