This petition is datable to after 1429 by the mention of 8 Henry VI (1 September 1429-31 August 1430) - as it is in French, it probably does not date from more than ten years after this date. CPR 1436-41 p.84 mentions a John Kyghley, dead by 28 October 1436, but this may well not be the petitioner.
