[This petition is damaged]John Paston, son and heir of William Paston, justice of Common Pleas, states that an inquisition held at Cambridge and returned in Chancery after his father's death contains several mistakes, wrongly saying that he held the manor of Snailwell [from the King], and naming his youngest son, William, as his heir. He asks the commons to ask the King and lords to ordain, by authority of parliament, that this inquisition [might be annulled], and that he might have entry into this manor and the issues received since the death of his father.
