- Edward, Lord Hastings, states that he has been held in prison for nearly seven years, notwithstanding his appeals and processes to the late King, and his case has still not been determined. He asks the commons to ask the Duke of Gloucester and the lords to appoint commissioners to examine the appeals and processes, and to do justice between him and Reginald Grey, Lord of Ruthin, concerning the Hastings arms. And he asks that he might be released on sufficient security and under wardship to prosecute his appeal.
