Nature of request
Letter to Henry III from the Bishop of Hereford, stating that Aimery, canon of Hereford and rector of the church of Lindridge, has been forced out of his church by lay force, despite a previous order from the King to the Sheriff of Worcestershire to remove that force. He asks that the King might again order the Sheriff to remove the lay force and protect Aimery in his church.
