- Alexander Comin, Earl of Buchan, states that he and his wife are called to vouch to warranty by his son Roger, in a case concerning lands in Farndon in Northamptonshire which [belonged] to his wife, and asks that someone might be appointed to take his wife's recognisance and to take it to the justices.They would like to arrange for William de Brupton or someone else from the Bench to go to the lady [as] the King grants, and to receive her recognisance.
