Wesebel de Skenefrith claims that James del Escheker has raped her, after tricking and deceiving her into being alone with him, and that when he saw that she was going to complain he promised to marry her - although he had a wife already - and he has destroyed her goods and engendered two children on her. And this took place on the Friday after the Trinity in the year when the King went overseas. She requests a remedy.
