Joan, widow of Geoffrey de Braddene, asks the King to order his constables of the peace in Northamptonshire to inquire into the unknown people who are assembling, with force and arms, to ravish her, and who have entered her manor of Norton and stolen her goods and chattels; and she asks that they might give the names of these people to the King, so that a remedy may be ordained, and that they might inquire into those who are harbouring them and are of their assent.
