Name(s)

Addressees
King.
Nature of request
Berard de la Bred states that certain people having lands in Vayres, which belongs to him, have refused to defend the place, but have taken the side of the King of France: because of which he has taken their lands, vineyards and rents into his hand. And because these contrariants live in the power of the Vicomte de Fronsac, where he and his people have lands, the Vicomte has seized these lands into his hand, and the Constable of Bordeaux has now seized Berard's goods. He requests letters to the Seneschal and Constable of Bordeaux to release these goods to him, and to return to him anything they have taken from them.
