[Part of this petition is illegible.]The Friars Preachers of Norwich state that the King's father granted them permission by his charter to buy land to enlarge their house, and that they have bought several pieces of land from various people. They are being harassed over this [by the Escheator], and ask that these purchases might be confirmed by charter. They also ask that [they might have this charter] without paying a fee.
