Nature of request
John Baillof states that the King, at the request of his mother, pardoned him the imprisonment and redemption for a trespass of which he was convicted at the suit of Bankyn Brunlesk; but that he has now been arrested and imprisoned in Newgate at the suit of his enemies, contrary to the form of his charter of pardon. He requests that the Sheriffs of London might be ordered to release him.
