The petitioners state that they were driven into Great Yarmouth by a storm, but that the people there, accusing them of being Scots, seized their ship and goods, took them to Blakeney and imprisoned them in their ship there, and opened their letters; and they are still holding their goods. And they took letters from Scotland from another ship, and showed them to the King to prove their point. They request the King's letter to the burgesses of Great Yarmouth to return their ship and goods to them, or, if he does not believe them, to have their goods put in safe-keeping until the burgesses of Bruges have sent letters attesting their identity.
