Agnes le Port states that the Prior of Chacombe is claiming that the tenements in Wormleighton that she holds of the King are held of him, and that by favour and underhand means, and for lack of support from the King, he is about to recover the tenements with the King's lordship. She requests the King's aid, as other tenants have of their lord, and writs or letters to John de Schukeborwe, coroner, John le Chaynel and John de Kave, William de Bereford and Stephen de Seygrave, to help her suit in various ways which she specifies.
