Ralph de Thidmershe states that by his procurement John Fitz Reginald gave the King the castle of Blaenllyfni in Wales, the honour and castle of Bwlchydinas, the manor of Talgarth and various other manors, and that John granted, for himself and his heirs, that Ralph should have £40 worth of land wherever he wanted in the aforesaid land, but Ralph granted these to the King, so that the lands would remain entire, in exchange for lands of similar value in England, which he has not yet received. He asks that he might have them, together with the arrears.
