Note
CPR 1446-52 p.511 is dated 12 January 1451, and states that Henry VI granted the petitioner the annuity on 14 July 10 Henry VI (1432). However, the mention of Lord Camoys and Lord Ros on the dorse seems incompatible with this date: Hugh de Camoys, Lord Camoys, died a minor in 1426 (his grandfather, Thomas de Camoys, died in 1421) and the lordship then fell into abeyance until 1839; Thomas de Ros, Lord Ros, died in 1430, and his heir did not have livery of his inheritance until 1446. The petition is therefore more likely to date to an earlier period, probably to the first decade of Henry VI's reign.
