Letter from the burgesses and community of Kingston upon Hull to Edward II, complaining that Baldwin Rose of Le Muthe and others from the power of the Count of Flanders attacked a ship belonging to Geoffrey de Sprotley and Hugh le Taverner, burgesses of Kingston upon Hull, sailing from Sluis to Hull, killed Geoffrey and the sailors, and carried off the goods and chattels to Het Zwin, and asking him to provide a suitable remedy for Hugh le Taverner, with regard to his share in the ship and goods.
