William Lenche of Droitwich, John Lenche of Droitwich, and Agnes, widow of William Lenche of Droitwich, state that Richard Ruyhale and Elizabeth his wife have brought a special assize of novel disseisin against them concerning certain tenements in Droitwich, and that Richard has brought another special assize of novel dissesin against them concerning these tenements in his own name; and that Richard's power and maintenance is such that, if these assizes go ahead, it will be to the prejudice of the crown and to their disinheritance. They ask the King to repeal his letters patent granting the justices their commission on this.
