Note (Additional information about the record)
- Sir Walter Blount married Sancha de Ayala, a lady-in-waiting of Constance, wife of John of Gaunt, around 1373, and died at the battle of Shrewsbury in 1403. From the hand, this petition would seem to date from the period from around the mid-1380s to his death.
