Nature of request
William, Marquis and Earl of Suffolk, grandson and heir of Michael de la Pole, Earl of Suffolk, states that in the parliament of 21 Richard II, the judgments against his grandfather in the parliaments of 10 and 11 Richard II were annulled, and that Henry IV, in the parliament in his first year, at the petition of Michael's son, restored him and his heirs to the name and position of heirs to the late Earl of Suffolk. He asks the King to grant and confirm, by authority of parliament, that the ordinances of the parliament of 21 Richard II, insofar as they concern his grandfather, might be in their force and effect forever; and also the grant and restitution of the parliament of 1 Henry IV.

[On face] The commons have assented to this bill.The King, with the advice and assent of the lords spiritual and temporal and the commons of his realm of England, being in this present parliament, and by authority of the same parliament, has granted this petition, and wills and grants with the same advice and assent and by the same authority, that it is to be done in all points as is desired by the same petition.
