- The Master, brothers, sisters and poor of St Leonard's Hospital in York request that the king appoint members of his council, justices and others to hear the evidence in their dispute over corn due to their house. They state that they are entitled to a thrave of corn from each carucate they hold in the counties of Yorkshire, Cumberland, Westmorland and Lancashire, but many people now refuse to hand these over, to their great loss and the impoverishment of the hospital and its patients.
